Erínias ou Fúrias - Vingança

As Erínias em grego ou Fúrias em Roma eram a representação da vingança. Nêmesis, a deusa da vingança, punia os deuses enquanto os mortais eram castigados pelas Fúrias.

Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones, 1st Baronet (1833-1898)  Nasceu em Birminghmam, Reino UnFeira Oriente: Artistas Selecionados.ido. Estudou na Birmingham School of Art antes de estudar Teologia no Exeter College, Oxford Ele produziu espetaculares obras descrevendo cavaleiros arturianos, heróis clássicos e anjos bíblicos. Utilizou-se de pintura, vitral, bordado, cerâmica, mosaico e jóias. Ele e seu amigo William Morris foram os pioneiros de movimentos artísticos, que trouxeram beleza para todos. Fez parte da última fase do movimento Pré-Rafaelita A Tate Gallery, Londres organizou a maior retrospectiva do artista.
